Absolutely stunning pair of late 19th century plates. Marked Tongzhi and probably of the period. Polychrome decorations. Flowers are a bit different in colour.
Provenance: From a Danish family settled in Shanghai from 1922 to 1946. Thence passed down in the family.
Condition:
Good, however, 1st plate has 3cm hairline at 12 o'clock and the other has 2 hairlines at 1 o'clock, one 2.5 cm and 2 cm. Both shows minimal sighs of wear.
