Inspireret af et af Danmarks nationalsymboler fra Amalienborg Slotsplads skabte Kay Bojesen i 1942 sine gardere. Denne håndmalede Fanebærer er en herre med et vist format og ikke til at overse med sine knapt 8 kg og 1 meter i højden.
