Beautiful Ming Dynasty porcelain dish, painted in underglaze blue with a Qilin, set amongst flowering plants, the rim and the reverse with scrolling flowerhead borders. Painted in a Bold Style Using a Wet Brush.

Provenance: Private Danish collection, assembled in the 1960s-2000s. This impressive collection was focused on early Ming and Song wares, over 300 pieces.
Condition: has a 3cm hairline, visible on both sides and a 0.5cm chip at 5 o'clock. Minimal firing defects.
