A Chinese blue and white Kraak porcelain plate with a deer. Very deep blue cobalt color. Thin porcelain.
Diam. 26.5cm
Ming dynasty, Wanli (1573-1619) emperor.
Provenance: Private Danish collection, assembled in the 1960s-2000s. This impressive collection was focused on early Ming and Song wares, over 300 pieces.
Condition: Fair, however has a 14cm piece broken out and reglued. Additionally, has some fritting around the edge. Firing defects.
